Established in 2017, Butler Esports aims to not just provide a pure gaming experience but help provide students with opportunities to grow academically, competitively, and professionally. Currently a student-led initiative, Butler Esports is one of the most unique programs in the country. Competing in the BIG EAST conference, they’re varsity teams hold teams in League of Legends & Rocket League. In addition to that they have club-level esports in 13 other gaming titles

New Facility
During the fall of 2022 Butler opened “Esports Park” a 7,320 sq ft state of the art facility where students can connect competitively and recreationally. With 50 PCs, gaming consoles, and VR the space is a unique opportunity for students to not only game but enhance their educational and career opportunities with spaces to train within fields of broadcast journalism and more.
